Woke ideology, or wokeism, is "Communism with American characteristics" to mimic the famous statement of Chinese dictator Mao Zedong, who once said that his philosophy was "Marxism is Leninism with Chinese characteristics." The issue is never the issue. The issue is the revolution or seizure of power. We have drag queens in primary schools while big banks and corporations hide behind the rainbow flag. Making everything about race, gender and identity is a way to divide and conquer legitimate uprisings and grassroots movements.
