Whistleblower Eric Hecker, ex-Raytheon, reveals how the South Pole station at Antarctica is home to the world's largest neutrino detector, called IceCube. This observatory is comprised of 5,160 digital optical modules (DOMs) embedded in a cubic kilometer of ice beneath the South Pole. It detects neutrinos through tiny flashes of blue light, called Cherenkov light, produced when the neutrinos interact in the ice. It is also capable of faster-than-light communication (and Einstein was wrong – the speed of light is not constant).
