This compilation contains video clips from the 1960s which aimed to show their audience at the time what life would be like in 1999 AD and beyond into the 21st century. The videos are surprisingly accurate in the way they predicted how computers would begin to run our households and rule our lives. The clips depict flat screen TV and computer monitors, machines "that could think" and computer-dictated fitness programs decades before they were invented. They also correctly predicted online shopping when such a thing would barely have been conceivable to most people in the 1960s. How were they so accurate?
