Although New Mexico has become famous for the 1947 Roswell crash, believe it or not, that was not the only UFO to crash in the state during that time period. On March 25, 1948, in Aztec New Mexico, a large disc landed on the western side of the mesa. Many witnesses have attested to the event but were sworn to secrecy by the military. Agencies such as the OSI (Air Force Office of Special Investigations) and FBI knew about it. Reports indicate the craft had large metallic rings revolving around a central core.
