In 2002, the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) was tasked by the US Government with "determining why and how WTC 1 and WTC 2 collapsed following the initial impacts of the aircraft and why and how WTC 7 collapsed." The final reports were a complete whitewash. NIST ran computer simulations, without revealing the computer code or program they used, turning away from the physical evidence in order to produce a conclusion which favored the official story.
