In part 26 of this Mystery Babylon School series, the late patriot and conspiracy researcher Bill Cooper traces the path of the Mystery School through Central and South America, centered around Quetzalcoatl, a plumed serpent or flying reptile (much like a dragon) in a culture where the snake represented (esoteric) wisdom. The sacred text Popul Vuh survived and was tolerated by the early missionaries, who, observing similarities between it and their own scriptures, kept it as a means of persuading the Indians to a more speedy baptism.
