This is an old and classic documentary covering a mostly unknown yet important event in history: the US polar expedition to Antarctica in 1947, comprising 2 operations, Operation Running Jump and operation High Jump. The latter was headed by Admiral Byrd, who later reported there was a secret land beyond Antarctica. As this film shows with its footage, there were many warm lakes there, free of snow. Apparently Byrd went beyond the pole to the entrance of "inner Earth" – that was, paradoxically, almost tropical and filled with vegetation. See the proof for yourself.
