The number of homeless Americans is increasing – and instead of handling it with compassion and fixing the root causes (wealth inequality from a rigged economic system), the US Government has been busy criminalizing homelessness. It many places it's illegal for the homeless to sleep in public areas and enter certain areas (e.g. downtown Columbia SC), or for anyone to feed the homeless and shelter them on your own land!
