Drawing from hundreds of peer-reviewed studies and sound scientific reasoning, he shows that there is no “safe” amount of fluoride; even in small doses, the evidence indicates it leads to lowered intelligence, thyroid dysfunction, hip fractures and the ominously rising incidence of osteosarcoma in boys. Fluoride is not an essential nutrient; like the barbaric practice of bloodletting, where a patient was cut open and allowed to bleed as a supposed way to cure disease, fluoride properly belongs on the scrap heap of sham medical interventions.
