When Giordano Bruno proclaimed that the sun was at the center of the solar system, he was burned at the stake as a heretic by the Roman Inquisition. The "scientific" establishment is the new inquisition, and the “big bang and expanding universe” theory is their unchallengeable doctrine. It was proposed by a Catholic priest named Georges Lemaitre who based it on the Biblical myth of creation. Yet the theory is clearly flawed, as it can’t adequately explain the electrical nature of the universe, nor phenomena such as filaments and comets.
