Badnarik looks at Government as a necessary evil, arguing that we need it since the average person would not pull the trigger to defend his rights. Molyneux argues that one can never solve violence with more violence and that the use of force is never justified, even if the end result appears to be good, as in the case of Socialism (forced redistribution of wealth) and other mandatory taxation.
